Book 3 Title Reveal

2026 is kicking my ass but I've got yaps!

Who would have thought all I needed was a K-Pop Demon Hunters duet with my toddler to be healed? At least that’s how I feel right now. Full out singing at the top of our lungs, dancing like no ones watching, jumping on the bed, high and floating on the joy that comes with not needing to know every word or next move, just enjoying the girlhood within motherhood.

Joy Jar Entry: Number One

Hey Swooners,

I hope you’re well, this month…really this year, has been a dumpster fire on wheels and I’m just hanging on to see what’s next. Anyone else? Writing has been incredibly difficult for me since late last year but I think I’m finally ready to put on my big girl panties and choosing to push through because I really love these characters—Janelle’s journey just so happens to be hitting me really close to home. Can I change it? No, not really, not when I’ve breadcrumbed it into Second Swing but I don’t think I would even if I hadn't. Her story of grief and finding love while being supported by a new friend needs to be finished, she deserves it, so do I, but also my readers.

Either way, tonight, I’ll be writing to finish my first draft and I’'ll be checking in on The Swoon Society to keep myself accountable—so if I miss a day, hold me accountable? I need someone to bully me into it, clearly.

I may have teased the title of the third book on my socials but I don’t know if I mentioned it here to all of you 👀

AHHHHH!!! Falling Reins is kicking my ass y’all but truly—Janelle and Anders book, once I get my writing life together, it’s going to be so dang good! Stay tuned for all the goodies. I will be opening ARC forms SUPER early and I’ll be sure to add the form here first. Sadly, preorders are not open yet but again, I promise I will be sending all the information your way once I’m ready.

I’m also writing a christmasy novella, unrelated to the Cypress Lake Reunion series, plus plotting out a little spooky short for the BER months and the next series too. And like the tease that I am, I’ll give you three words about my next series:

3. NERDY

Hush, maybe number one isn’t one word but who’s going to stop me.

I won’t say another word about it, you can’t make it (we all know that’s a lie), just know I’m out of this world excited about it.

The joy jar is something new for my substack, and I hope to keep it up because choosing joy is fucking hard sometimes. I even have a joy jar album in my phone to remember anything that brought me joy, so I can look at it when the dark feelings are crowding me or if I simply forget my why.
